Self-Worth Reclaimed
In today’s world, we entrepreneurs and professionals often measure our worth through the relentless cycle of doing and achieving.
Valuations and KPIs dot our inner landscape — markers we often use to prove our worth. But our worth is embedded in our being, not something to be earned or proved.
If you’re weary of measuring yourself this way, consider another mindset — one that can support a healthier narrative of who you are and how you want to live.
This carousel distills the insights I’ve shared in my coaching — from Tibetan teachings to the Yin-Yang principle — to help those who want to release their old definitions of self-worth.

THE MODERN DILEMMA
In today’s world, we tie self-worth to:
• Constant productivity
• Measurable success
• External validation
But this mindset keeps us stuck in a cycle of doing to feel worthy.
THE TIBETAN PERSPECTIVE
In Tibetan philosophy, every human is born with innate goodness.
Our worth is not earned—it’s embedded in our being
It doesn’t need proving.
Only remembering / affirming.
THE YIN-YANG RE-FRAME
• Yang = Action. Progress. Doing
• Yin = Rest. Reflection. Being.
True self-worth lives in both: the doing and the being.
We need both energies for our well-being.
IN OVERDRIVE MODE
Signs you’re stuck in Yang-mode:
• Burnout
• Perfectionism
• Inability to pause
Fear of losing your worth.
OR UNDERDRIVE?
Signs you’re stuck in Yin-mode:
• Self-disregard
• Fear of rejection
Waiting for permission
and approval to feel worthy.
A BALANCED PATH
The Yin-Yang way:
• Honor your being and your becoming
• Allow stillness and movement
• Flow with both, without guilt
RECLAIM YOUR WORTH
• Define self-worth in your own words
• Do they resonate deeply?
• If not, rewrite it until it does.
Allow your definition to evolve to reflect the true you
AFFIRM IT DAILY
• Pause before saying yes:
Is this aligned with my worth?
Pause and ask yourself:
Am I in my “Proving” mode?
Remind yourself:
I am worthy as I am.
Our worth is not a project.
It’s not something to earn or prove.
By embracing both action (doing)
and stillness (being),
we honor who we already are
Define your worth
Or others will define it for you.
How have you reclaimed your worth?
